Job Description
Spark Company is currently hiring dedicated and vigilant Security Guards to join our growing team in Dubai. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, their employees, and visitors. This role requires a high level of alertness, integrity, and professionalism.
You will work at various client sites across Dubai, including commercial buildings, residential complexes, warehouses, and event venues. The ideal candidate is physically fit, has excellent observation skills, and can remain calm under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol & Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, unauthorized entry, or security breaches.
- Access Control: Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors are permitted entry.
- CCTV Monitoring: Operate and monitor security cameras and alarm systems, reporting any suspicious activity immediately.
- Incident Response: Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and disturbances; take appropriate action and notify authorities when necessary.
- Report Writing: Maintain accurate daily logs, incident reports, and activity records as per company standards.
- Fire Safety: Enforce fire safety protocols, conduct routine checks of fire extinguishers and emergency exits, and assist in evacuation procedures.
- Customer Service: Provide courteous assistance to visitors, employees, and clients while maintaining security protocols.
- Loss Prevention: Prevent theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities by maintaining a visible security presence.
- Collaboration: Work closely with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
- Compliance: Adhere to all UAE labor laws, SIRA (Security Industry Regulatory Agency) regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Valid SIRA Security Guard License (or willingness to obtain one)
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Good physical fitness and health
- Clean criminal record
Required Skills:
- Strong observation and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure
- Basic computer literacy for report writing and CCTV monitoring
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in Arabic or other languages (Hindi, Urdu, Tagalog)
- Prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement
- First Aid / CPR certification
