- Drafting documents and briefing notes in response to public consultations on a variety of topics of current interest
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws regarding lobbying the federal and Ontario governments
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and organizations, particularly in the transportation and tourism industries
- Managing day-to-day communications between Air Canada and elected officials and their staff, government officials in key federal departments and agencies, and federal agencies.
- Ongoing contact with Canadian government officials on all issues of interest to Air Canada.
- Liaison with key stakeholders in the aviation sector (NAV Canada, CATSA, etc.) to promote Air Canada’s interests.
