Azadea group careers in middle east – Senior Tax Specialist
Job Description.
The Senior Assessment Expert is liable for dealing with the duty activities of the gathering. He/she will be responsible for implementing the group’s tax strategy, managing the tax process, identifying tax opportunities and helping to minimize the group’s tax liabilities in all jurisdictions where the group operates.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure that the Group’s tax compliance is in line with the tax laws and regulations of all countries in which the Group operates.
- Identify and mitigate tax risks in the countries in which the group operates.
- Provide tax training to various departments within the Group on various tax issues.
- Provide tax support and ad hoc advice to various teams within the group, including but not limited to legal restructuring, contract review, review of tax exposures related to global regional and country level projects, and tax treatment of specific transactions.
- Aid the plan and execution of effective cycles and controls to alleviate charge chances.
- Work closely with the Azadea Business Services team to ensure timely filing and payment of all tax returns in all countries of operation.
- Prepare tax presentations for the Board of Directors and senior management
- Assist in the review of transfer pricing documentation, BRCR reports and economic entity declarations.
- Work closely with the Finance team, Azadea Business Services team and tax consultants to effectively manage the Group’s tax audits in all countries of operation.
Job Requirements
- Must be proficient in MS Office.
- Must be fluent in English and Arabic. French is also a plus.
- Knowledge of multiple types of taxes (including both direct and indirect taxes)
- Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in auditing, finance or accounting; ADIT a plus
- At least 5 years of experience in the tax field. Experience with the Big 4 is a plus.
