Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all assigned work documents and records are complete.
  • Seek on-the-job training during work shifts to ensure that appropriate qualification standards are met and maintained.

  • Examine all information and documentation related to the work scheduled on the aircraft.
  • Maintain a clean maintenance area at all times.

  • Ensure that all tools (both personal and company owned) are removed from aircraft, aircraft engines, equipment, and components.

  • Examine all information and materials related to the work scheduled on the aircraft.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • FAA certified mechanic with airframe and powerplant certifications
  • Two (2) years of experience performing the following areas of maintenance on A320 series or larger similar aircraft is required: A320 series or larger similar aircraft maintenance inspections, engine replacement, gear replacement, structural repairs, flight control rigging, component maintenance, or certified A&P Must have completed a mechanic training course.
  • If directed by management, must be qualified in taxiing and run-up of all types of aircraft within six (6) months of being assigned to the line maintenance department.
