Job Responsibilities
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance as needed.
- Load, transport, and deliver items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
- Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete and the customer is satisfied.
- Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
- Use navigation apps to determine the best route.
- Interact with clients in a professional manner and handle any issues that arise during delivery.
Job Requirements
- Valid Canadian Class G driver’s license or equivalent from your country, with a clean driving record.
- Experience in a delivery role preferred.
- Ability to drive a variety of vehicle sizes, from small vans to larger delivery trucks.
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to load and unload packages as well as the ability to lift up to 50 pounds (23 kg).
- For international applicants, eligibility to obtain a work visa for Canada.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven work experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role.
