Job Responsibilities

1. Oversee the receiving process for direct store deliveries, ensuring accuracy in orders and documentation.
2. Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages, and reject damaged goods.
3. Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs.
4. Organize and maintain the backroom by following company safety, cleaning, and operating procedures.
5. Operate equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and responsible manner.
6. Communicate with supervisors and peers to ensure the efficient flow of goods to the sales floor.

Job Requirements

• Experience in retail, warehousing, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with inventory software, databases, and systems.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
• International candidates must meet Canadian immigration criteria for work visa sponsorship.

Education and Experience

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage.
