Role and Responsibilities

As an Electrician, you will:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in retail spaces
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) regulations
• Collaborate with the facilities team to complete work orders efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs

Qualifications and Skills

1. Certification: Valid UAE electrician license or equivalent certification (DEWA-approved)
2. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of electrical maintenance experience (retail/commercial preferred)
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in wiring, circuits, lighting systems, and electrical panels
4. Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and protocols
5. Language: Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
6. Physical Ability: Capable of working at heights and lifting heavy equipment
