Role and Responsibilities:

• Assist the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine in leading kitchen operations
• Supervise and coordinate the preparation and presentation of dishes according to the restaurant’s standards
• Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation across all kitchen stations
• Manage and train kitchen team members, ensuring high performance and motivation
• Monitor inventory, order supplies, and minimize food wastage
• Enforce strict hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP compliance)
• Participate in the development of new menus and seasonal specials
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Support in maintaining cost controls and labor efficiency

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a high-end hotel or fine-dining restaurant, with at least 2 years as a Sous Chef
2. Culinary diploma or degree from a recognized institution preferred
3. Strong leadership and people management skills
4. Excellent understanding of international cuisines, plating styles, and kitchen systems
5. Good communication skills in English; other languages are a plus
6. Strong knowledge of food hygiene, safety standards, and kitchen equipment
7. Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced, and multicultural environment
8. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
