Operations Officer
Job Description.
As an Airport Operations Officer, you will provide seamless operations and services to QR customers using DQ products (airport transit tours, hotels, car rentals, city tours), and provide quality tour consultation by employing effective processes to Promote Qatar as a premium tourist destination.
The incumbent will also lead a team of junior staff and represent the airport operations in the absence of the line manager.
Duties
- Check all incoming emails and take appropriate action
- Coordinate with drivers and tour guides and communicate manifest details to tour guides, including passenger pick-up times.
- Coordinate with third party suppliers to ensure that tours are conducted without delays or problems. Ensure handover between shifts to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Send vehicle maintenance requests to the base department to ensure that all payments are received prior to the completion of documentation and reporting of transactions as per SLA.
- Prepare and send daily reports on delayed guest pickups and vehicle breakdowns to the departments.
- Maintain weekly and monthly tour manifests and monitor guest flow.
- Respond to telephone, email and tour operator website inquiries and ensure all actions are processed within agreed timescales in accordance with the DQ Service Level Agreement.

Job Description

Duties
- Assist in the utilization of the terminal by streamlining operational processes, including reallocating personnel and equipment resources to maintain business requirements.

- Enable operations recovery protocols to protect business needs, including but not limited to breakdowns and system recovery.
- Manage the budget for each section and forecast OTE expenditures.

- Work with systems and IT providers to minimize impact on operations.
