- Perform routine beekeeping duties including hive inspection, honey extraction, and processing.
- Monitor bee health, detect diseases or parasites, and apply appropriate treatments.
- Assist with the breeding and rearing of queen bees.
- Maintain and repair apiary equipment and tools.
- Participate in the set-up of new hives and apiary sites.
- Harvest and package honey and other bee products while ensuring quality standards.
- Experience in beekeeping is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Comfortable working with bees and able to tolerate bee stings.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Good observational skills and attention to detail.
