Role and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso-based drinks according to recipes
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment with precision
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude and take accurate drink orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station and seating area
- Assist in stock rotation and inventory control of coffee supplies
- Educate guests about different types of coffee and specialty drinks
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and promptly
- Ensure hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards are followed at all times
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous barista experience in a café, hotel, or restaurant is preferred
- Knowledge of coffee beans, brewing techniques, and latte art is an advantage
- Good spoken English communication skills; other languages are a bonus
- Outgoing, friendly, and guest-focused personality
- Excellent attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
