Role and Responsibilities:

• Lead all culinary operations of a designated restaurant or outlet at Atlantis The Palm
• Oversee kitchen staff, ensuring consistent high-quality food preparation and presentation
• Develop new menus, food concepts, and seasonal offerings in line with brand identity
• Manage kitchen budgets, food costs, inventory, and supplier relations
• Ensure full compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards (HACCP)
• Recruit, train, and mentor chefs and kitchen staff at all levels
• Coordinate closely with F&B management and service teams to exceed guest expectations
• Handle guest feedback, operational challenges, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Report directly to the Director of Culinary or Executive Director of F&B

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Minimum 10 years of culinary experience, with at least 3–5 years in an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef role at a luxury hotel or fine-dining venue
2. Professional culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
3. Proven expertise in international cuisine, menu design, and modern culinary techniques
4. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
5. Financial acumen and experience in cost control and kitchen administration
6. Excellent English language skills; additional languages are an advantage
7. Creative thinker with attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
8. Must be flexible with working hours, including holidays and weekends
